This blog is for helping me record the technical construction techniques that underpin the production of garments for the fashion industry. Throughout the project I will be investigated the fabrics, seams, through to the finish of garments. Through thorough reflective observation an understanding how the quality of construction detail along with design and decoration distinguish garments from various high street levels and the "designer" market.
Brief
Required of 2 garments.
one of the garments must be a lined jacket, the second a skirt or a pair of trousers. The garments must have at least 2 types of pocket and a minimum of 2 methods of fastening i.e zips, buttons, hook and eyes or press-studs.
