The Art of Mixing

Some women have been mixing and matching high-end labels with cheaper labels for years. Think of people like Kate Moss or Winona Ryder. Not only do they mix the highs and the lows, but also they add vintage to the mix. This doesn’t always mean spending a lot of money (although there are many high-end vintage stores), there are just as many thrift stores or flea markets to look through with treasures galore at unbelievable prices.

The High-End Designers

Some of the most popular designer labels include Chanel, Burberry, Prada, YSL, Alexander McQueen and Dolce&Gabbana.

Mid-priced

Topshop, River island, Zara, Urban Outfitter.

The Low-End

Primark, Tesco (F&F), Newlook, Forever 21 and Hollister

With a few exceptions of course go mid-to-high-end on purses and shoes. They truly make any outfit and the quality of the shoes and bag, makes the quality of your high/low mix sky rise in the luxury and quality department. Look for prices that are unique and speak volumes about who your are as an individual.

Mixing high and low-end is not just the latest fashion movement; its here to stay and it’s a way of life. So many of us love our lifestyle, mixed with our glamorous nights out on the town, so as we mix our lifestyle, let’s mix out designer duds with cheaper, no-hassle pieces. You will look unique, save a bundle and have a new attitude towards fashion and life.
